Lucille Piggott-Prawl Elected to Third Term on the Sights for Hope Board
Lucille Piggott-Prawl – Vice Chair of the Monroe Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania – was elected to her third three-term on the Sights for Hope Board of Directors during the board’s September meeting. Her third term begins on October 1.
Piggott-Prawl chairs the board’s Monroe Committee and is a member its Services Committee.
Piggott-Prawl has worked for more than 20 years as a disability rights and special education advocate in a several capacities. Along with her leadership with the Monroe disability network, she is a project manager for the Parent Education & Advocacy Leadership (PEAL) Center, which serves families across Pennsylvania, and First Vice President of The Arc of Pennsylvania. Piggott-Prawl also has been a Resource Family Coach for Merakey, a human services organization focused largely on developmental and behavioral health issues, Vice Chair Monroe County’s Women’s Commission, a member of the Pennsylvania Right to Education Task Force, and the elected Auditor of Polk Township, PA.
The Sights for Hope Board of Directors oversees the organization’s activities, holds fiduciary responsibility, and provides strategic direction to ensure that it can fulfill its mission.
