Give Day Promotion Returns with New Opportunity for Donors to do More
The Give Day 2024 initiative by AllOne Charities offers Sights for Hope’s donors a new chance to do more with their contributions.
AllOne will match the first $1,000 in contributions made to Sights for Hope through its platform on Tuesday, December 3. All dollars given to Sights for Hope will support its mission throughout Pennsylvania’s Monroe County and Lehigh Valley.
Described as a “movement of radical generosity,” Give Day is held by AllOne Charities on GivingTuesday – a global event held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to promote philanthropy during the winter holiday season.
Based in Wilkes-Barre, PA, AllOne Charities works to enhance the present healthcare delivery system of northeast and north central Pennsylvania. Sights for Hope helps increase access to healthcare through its guided transport service. Sights for Hope is one 60 organizations in northeastern Pennsylvania to participate in its 2024 Give Day initiative.
Sights for Hope empowers people with visual impairments and blindness to break down barriers to brighter lives and promising futures. Its services strengthen skills, deliver supports, and champion solutions that advance personal independence and quality of life. While Sights for Hope focuses on individuals, its work also improves public health, combats generational poverty, and promotes early childhood literacy. Sights for Hope is a community-funded organization founded in 1928 from a challenge made by Helen Keller, and is proud to carry that tradition forward in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley and Monroe County. Sights for Hope is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind (PAB) and the national VisionServe Alliance.
