Sights for Hope Partners with Brown-Daub for First Trunk or Treat Family Event
Sights for Hope will hold its first annual Trunk or Treat event with Silver Community Partner Brown-Daub Charities on Saturday, October 30, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
The event at Brown-Daub Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Easton, PA, will feature safe and contactless trick-or-treating, a costume contest, free vision screenings, educational activities, attendees, a special guest from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, and additional fall family fun with many of Sights for Hope’s community partners.
“We are happy to be able to collaborate on such a worthwhile event as a Sights for Hope Silver Community Partner,” said Thomas A. Daub, President of the Brown-Daub Dealerships. “Not only does this event help to further vision health in our community, but it also provides a fun, safe event for the families in the community to enjoy together.”
Trunk or Treat also highlights Sights for Hope’s youth and family services – which will expand in the coming months with programs for pre-kindergarten children, their adult family members, and their siblings.
“Our free vision screenings for children and C. Well Bunny educational programs are great for the community, but we want to do even more to support youth living with visual impairments,” said Jennifer Pandolfo, Sights for Hope’s Director of Services. “We are starting to increase youth programming by starting with events like this and the upcoming launch of our Mommy and Me program for mothers with children who face these challenges.”
The inaugural Trunk or Treat also is supported by Sights for Hope Community Partners Provident Bank, Lehigh Valley IronPigs, Davis Vision, Northampton Puppy Raisers, Working Dog Press, Ally Bank, United Concordia, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Citizens Bank, and ShopRite of Hunterdon County.
Sights for Hope’s Community Partnerships provide year-round recognition opportunities for businesses. The program offers several levels and customizable opportunities. Interested business can contact Sights for Hope’s Advancement office at 610.433.6018, Ext. 244.
