Sights for Hope hosts or participates in special events and promotions to connect with its communities and to increase support for its mission.

Bikers for Sight Ride

The annual Bikers for Sight motorcycle ride through the Pocono Mountains is anchored by the Northeast PA Inter Club and benefits Sights for Hope. The event is open to all motorcycle riders, and Sights for Hope clients get to take part as passengers.

Bowlers for Sight Tournament

The Marian Boehm Memorial Bowlers for Sight Tournament to benefit Sights for Hope brings people together in celebration of Marian Boehm’s life and commitment to community. Marian Boehm volunteered for many years for the former Lehigh Valley Braille Guild, for which she translated countless books into Braille.

NEPA Gives 24-Hour Campaign

The annual NEPA Gives 24-Hour Campaign is produced by the Scranton Area Community Foundation and gives donors the specific opportunity to support Sights for Hope’s services in Monroe County.
