PABikerLawyer.com Named Presenting Sponsor for 2026 Bikers for Sight
Sights for Hope has announced that PABikerLaywer.com will return as Presenting Sponsor for the 2026 Bikers for Sight Ride – which will be held on Saturday, September 19 in Monroe County.
Headed by the Northeast PA Inter Club, this year’s Bikers for Sight event will be a traditional group ride after it was formatted as a poker run in 2025. This year’s ride also will foster more opportunities for Sights for Hope clients to ride along with participants.
PABikerLawyer.com, led by attorney Tom Schimmerling, is dedicated to protecting the rights and safety of motorcycle riders in Pennsylvania and New York. Its Bikers for Sight sponsorship is part of its public advocacy efforts.
The 2026 Bikers for Sight Ride will start at 11 a.m. at Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson in Tannersville, PA, and will end at 1 p.m. at Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery in Saylorsburg, PA. A free barbecue lunch, tricky tray auction, and program will follow. Registration will start at 9 a.m. The cost will be $20 per rider and $10 per passenger.
Additional sponsors committed for 2026 are Pocono Eye Associates, Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson, and Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery.
Bikers for Sight was inspired by client Wendy Smentkowski, a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association who goes by the name “Gladiator” and rode frequently before she lost most of her vision. She convinced the Northeast PA Inter Club, an association of area biker clubs, to “adopt” Sights for Hope as one of its charities.
The inaugural Bikers for Sight Ride in 2025 exceeded expectations, raising more than $18,500 to support Sights for Hope’s mission, programs, and services.
Sights for Hope empowers people to overcome the challenges of vision loss and promotes healthy eyesight throughout Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley and Monroe County. Sights for Hope educates people with limited or no vision about adaptive skills, improves their access to essential services, boosts their confidence and emotional well-being, and helps them obtain assistive devices.
