Sights for Hope Donors Unlock $1,000 Giving Tuesday Contribution
Sights for Hope’s donors unlocked a $1,000 contribution from AllOne Charities today through its annual Give Day event.
Supporters helped Sights for Hope earn this bonus by contributing more than $1,000 through the online Give Day platform. This is the fourth straight year in which Sights for Hope has reached this milestone.
The Give Day event draws nonprofits from across Northeastern and North Central Pennsylvania into a single day of online philanthropy, with matching funds designed to encourage community participation. It is held annually on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, which has become known globally as Giving Tuesday.
The global Giving Tuesday movement was started to encourage people to support the causes they hold dear during the winter holiday season.
