Scott Lohman Begins Lions Leadership Term on Sights for Hope Board

Scott Lohman, Immediate Past District Governor of Pennsylvania Lions District 14-K, has begun a one-year term on the Sights for Hope Board of Directors.
Each District 14-K Governor becomes the board’s Lions Leadership Director automatically at the conclusion of their tenure. District 14-K represents Lions Clubs in Lehigh and Northampton counties, areas from which Lions formed two organizations that evolved to what is known today as Sights for Hope.
Lohman’s life exemplifies an exceptional personal dedication to serving others. Lohman’s “Delivering Service” theme as District Governor was both a reference to his 35-year career with the United States Postal Service, and to his deeply rooted belief that even the smallest acts of service are impactful. One of his initiatives was the district’s Guiding Lion project for senior Lions to guide new clubs and clubs in need of assistance.
Lohman has been a member of the Saucon Valley Lions Club since 2000 and is a two-time former club President. He has been a staunch advocate of blood donation, expanding the club’s annual blood drive to three drives per year. He has also been a board member for Lions District 14-K Enterprises since 2011. In the 1990s, Lohman was a member of the Richlandtown Lions Club, where he was President for one term. He joined the club after accompanying his father to meetings.
The Sights for Hope Board of Directors oversees the organization’s operations, holds fiduciary responsibility, and provides strategic direction to ensure fulfillment of its mission and vision.
