Sights for Hope Expands Support Opportunities through Cryptocurrency

Sights for Hope has expanded the ways people can support its mission by accepting cryptocurrency donations.

Cryptocurrency can be donated at SightsforHope.org/GiveCrypto with the Every.org platform. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law and can be made using more than 80 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and USD Coin (USDC).

Contributions help Sights for Hope empower people to maximize their potential however they see the world. Its programs and services build confidence and capabilities for people with vision loss, equip children to read in kindergarten, and promote habits that protect eyesight. More than 40% of Sights for Hope’s annual revenue comes from private contributions and grants.

“Sights for Hope’s work is important to everybody in our communities and expanding access is a critical part of what we are about,” said Dennis Zehner, Executive Director and CEO of Sights for Hope. “Blindness and visual impairments affect people from all walks of life, and we want to provide as many people as possible access to opportunities to be part of our efforts.”
