PABikerLawyer.com Named Presenting Sponsor for 2026 Bikers for Sight Ride
Sights for Hope has announced that PABikerLaywer.com will return as Presenting Sponsor for the 2026 Bikers for Sight Ride – which will be held on Saturday, September 19 in Monroe County.
Headed by the Northeast PA Inter Club, this year’s Bikers for Sight event will be a traditional group ride after it was formatted as a poker run in 2025. This year’s ride also will foster more opportunities for Sights for Hope clients to ride along with participants. All proceeds benefit Sights for Hope’s mission, programs, and services.
PABikerLawyer.com, led by attorney Tom Schimmerling, is dedicated to protecting the rights and safety of motorcycle riders in Pennsylvania and New York. Its Bikers for Sight sponsorship is part of its public advocacy efforts.
This year’s ride will start at 11 a.m. at Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson in Tannersville, PA, and will end at 1 p.m. at Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery in Saylorsburg, PA. A free barbecue lunch, tricky tray auction, and program will follow. Registration will start at 9 a.m. The cost will be $20 per rider and $10 per passenger. Additional sponsors committed for 2026 include Pocono Eye Associates, Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson, and Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery.
The Bikers for Sight Ride was inspired by client Wendy Smentkowski, a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association who goes by the name “Gladiator” and rode frequently before she lost most of her vision. She convinced the Northeast PA Inter Club, an association of area biker clubs, to “adopt” Sights for Hope as one of its charities. The inaugural ride in 2025 exceeded expectations, raising more than $18,500.
The 2026 Bikers for Sight Ride, presented by PABikerLawyer.com, is part of Sights for Hope’s 2026 special events calendar that also includes the Lions4Sight Breakfast on Friday, February 27; the NEPA Gives 24-Hour Campaign, produced by the Scranton Area Community Foundation, on Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5; the inaugural Marian Boehm Memorial Bowlers for Sight Tournament, presented by BowlerX, on Saturday, June 6; and the Give Day 24-Hour Campaign, produced by AllOne Charities, on Tuesday, December 1.
