Sights for Hope to Premiere New Support Group and Reintroduce Men’s Client Group

Sights for Hope will premiere a new peer support group on grief care and reintroduce its men’s client support group in July. Both groups will begin with phone sessions to offer easy access for clients from the Lehigh Valley and Monroe County.
The grief care group will be for all clients who are dealing with grief for any reason. It will be held once a month. The first meeting will be on Monday, July 14, at 3 p.m.
The men’s group was discontinued in 2020 with the departure of its facilitator. The group’s new incarnation, titled the Men’s Den Client Support Group, will be facilitated voluntarily by male clients. Its first monthly sessions will be by phone. The first meeting will be on Wednesday, July 16, at 2 p.m.
Sights for Hope’s support groups give its clients opportunities to express needs and concerns specific to them, participate in solving problems, and share resources in environments of openness, respect, encouragement, and trust.
