Center for Vision Loss Draws its August C. Well Sweepstakes Winners

The Center for Vision Loss announced its August C. Well Sweepstakes winners on Monday as the agency resumed its practice of drawings at the start of each month.

The August winners were Margaret Hilbert of Allentown, PA; Robert Kasinecz of Allentown, PA; Kathleen Miller of Allentown, PA; Frances Moore of Mount Pocono, PA; and Richard Wiscount of Allentown, PA.

Entries not selected on Monday will have 10 more chances to win and tickets may be submitted until May 30.

Drawing winners receive $50, or $100 if they win more than once in the same drawing period. Sweepstakes proceeds benefit the agency and its services – which empower people with visual impairments to claim personal independence and promote healthy eyesight throughout Pennsylvania’s Lehigh, Northampton, and Monroe counties. The 2020-2021 sweepstakes has brought in more than $11,000 to date.

The sweepstakes is open to Pennsylvania residents ages 18 and up, and tickets can be requested by phone at 610.433.6018, Ext. 241. Suggested donations are $10 per ticket, or $50 for six tickets.

Official rules and eligibility requirements are available on the C. Well Sweepstakes webpage. A donation does not increase an entrant’s chance of winning.

The July drawing was deferred for three weeks as the distribution of tickets and entry forms was delayed as a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
