NEPA Gives 24-Hour Campaign for Monroe County Services Returns June 4-5

Sights for Hope’s Monroe County supporters will have their next opportunity to strengthen services for their neighbors during the NEPA Gives 24-Hour Campaign on June 4-5.

The online giving campaign, managed by the Scranton Area Community Foundation, begins at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, and brings together nonprofit organizations serving communities throughout northeastern Pennsylvania. Contributions made to Sights for Hope through NEPA Gives will directly support Monroe County programs, services, and operations.

The first $1,000 contributed to Sights for Hope during the 24-hour campaign through the NEPA Gives platform also will be matched by a campaign sponsor. Sights for Hope has earned that match in each of the last two campaigns.

Sights for Hope has provided rehabilitation and support services in Monroe County since 2003. Delivered from Sights for Hope’s Monroe County Services Center in Stroudsburg, PA, these services help people with vision loss access medical care, obtain groceries and essential supplies, build skills and confidence, and remain connected to their communities. The organization also works to protect eyesight through vision screenings and prevention programs benefiting children and families.
