Agency Releases Statement in Response to Increased Dialogue on Race Relations
In response to recent events and increased dialogue across the United States with about race relations, the Center for Vision Loss has issued a statement, which is as follows:
“At the Center for Vision Loss, we are dedicated to personal independence. We believe that every person deserves a life of independence, dignity, and hope. Our focus is on sight and we do not pretend to know how to combat every problem around us, including racism against people of color. We declare, with utmost conviction, that we condemn and will not tolerate racism in any form and that we stand with those who demand that we all do better. #WeSeeYou #WeHearYou #Independence #Dignity #Hope”
