Agency Names Jennifer Pandolfo to New Director of Services Position

The Center for Vision Loss has announced that Jennifer Pandolfo will become its Director of Services on April 6.

In this new position, Pandolfo will be responsible for the development, execution, impact, and efficiency of all agency services in Lehigh, Northampton, and Monroe counties. She will work from both its Lehigh Valley campus in Allentown, PA, and its Monroe campus near Stroudsburg, PA.

Pandolfo has been the agency’s Director of Monroe Operations since 2015 and has 15 years of experience in the social services sector. She is a former Program Director and Acting Executive Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Morris County, N.J., for which she expanded services to two additional facilities, developed a new after-school program, and increased participation in all club programs. She also worked previously for Step By Step, Inc., as a support specialist for children with severe emotional and behavioral disorders.

Pandolfo also is Vice President of the Pocono Autism Society and Secretary of the InterAgency Council of Monroe County.

The Director of Services position was created to ensure quality and consistency across the agency’s service area and to influence its structure upon its approaching leadership transition. Executive Director Douglas Yingling will retire on June 30 and will be succeeded by Dennis Zehner, its Associate Director and Director of Advancement. The Director of Services position was instituted prior to that transition to promote continuity, Zehner said.

“Jennifer Pandolfo was the natural choice, and we appreciate that she agreed to take on this opportunity,” Zehner said. “Our dedication to excellence in service will remain as resolute as it has been for more than 90 years, and Jennifer’s extended hands-on experience, intellect, and passion for our mission will be integral to our continued success.”
