C. Well Bunny Goes to School is Sights for Hope’s original community education program for children ages 0-6. It stars our beloved C. Well Bunny character, a playful pre-kindergartner with loads of personality and distinctive orange glasses. C. Well Bunny Goes to School has been made possible with support from the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind (PAB).
Program Details
- C. Well Bunny Goes to School is provided with each Sights for Hope pre-kindergarten vision screening event, and it can be delivered as a standalone presentation.
- The program encourages children to practice habits that support healthy eyesight, protect their eyes, and feel more comfortable with eye care.
- Children learn concepts like protecting their eyes from the sun, limiting time spent in front of screens, eating healthy foods, and speaking up when something is not right with their eyes.
- Our C. Well Sees Clearly storybook introduces the vision screening process in a fun and enjoyable way and teaches that some children wear glasses so they can do the things they love to do with confidence.
- C. Well Bunny Goes to School is also taught throughout Pennsylvania by our fellow PAB member agencies.
